I’ve been a big fan of Mike Young’s work (or rather, Michael Paul Young more recently) for the better part of a decade now—which, as we know, is forever in web time. I can clearly recall how I reacted when I first came across his work—the same feeling we all get when we see something that we know has never been done before. His “Designgraphik” series still does it for me—when a new series is released, I’ll find myself lost in the visual and aural experience for hours—I find his work that powerful.
Well, it looks like he’s launched a recent portfolio refresh, and it’s great to see that his efforts have not gone unnoticed (recently doing motion graphic work for U2).
Michael has also branched-out into iPhone app development. He’s recently released a highly-original design inspiration app titled “Buamai“. If you are a designer (chances are that you are, if you read this blog), and you own an iPhone (quite possible), I recommend checking it out.
