Odopod site revamp

Odopod in San Francisco has recently posted a revamped version of their website. The biggest change in store was not just a dramatic new layout with a new focus on their work, but a lack of flash to drive the UI. Being a company that largely focuses on flash-based rich interactive experiences, this is perhaps an unlikely move but it’s not an uncommon move these days. A number of similar studios have been making the switch back to HTML. Part of a larger trend? One thing on note, this site will work on iPhone because it’s not flash. And also loads very fast. But the site still feels very ‘rich.’ Yes, nay-sayers, it is possible to have rich experiences without Flash.
