In addition to their beautiful product design, Seymourpowell’s new website is a minimalist beauty. Taking advantage of layering, shadows, clean lines, and some high quality photography, the site is a wonderful example of flash put to good use without overdoing it. Navigating through the work almost feels like shuffling through clean sheets of paper, only a bit more organized, and a bit more high-tech.
Some of the other great details of this sight include a very slide scroll bar, a great handling of large amounts of copy, a beautiful grid system that handles flexibly browser size well, and printable versions of most pages. Only one request: in the time high-bandwitch web sites, give us a larger video player. But that is only a small oddity on an otherwise extremely elegant site.
